Own fleet of marine barges, tugboats and work boats

At GPM Marine Constructions we have a wide range of purpose-built marine barges, work boats and a tugboat available for daily and weekly hire.

Our extensive and diverse fleet are suited for both large and small jobs, including:

• Creating stable and heavy duty floating work platforms for your water-based construction projects

• Wharf, jetty and bridge construction and repair projects

• Drilling, demolition, diving, piling and dredging activities

• Plant and equipment transport, including cranes and excavators

• Cargo delivery and removal

• Garbage and rubbish removal

GPM’s road-transportable fleet also allows us to service many inland locations, such as rivers, marinas and dams.

You can either hire just the equipment hire or hire the equipment with our team of highly experienced operators.

Meet Our Fleet

We have a tugboat, 8 barges and 5 workboats

“White Bay Tugboat” – 15 metre long tugboat available for towing along the Eastern Seaboard.

“Barge 1” – Unpowered 16.2 metre steel barge, ideal for getting into smaller areas. Can carry tools, materials, excavators and machines.

“Barge 2” – Unpowered 17 metre steel barge used for piling works and other jobs. Was fully refurbished in 2021 and can carry excavators and tools.

“Barge 3” – Unpowered 24 metre steel barge with 55 tonne crawler crane and 45 tonne excavator on board. Was fully refurbished in 2022 and is used for large jobs up and down the seaboard.

“Barge 4” – Unpowered 24.6 metre steel barge can carry a spoil bin for demolition, dredging, and easy removal of large amounts of waste.

5 x Workboats – designed for use on marine construction worksites and moving unpowered barges. All work boats have specially designed trailers for easy transport, are powered with large outboard motors and can carry large loads of materials and tools.

Our other 4 barges are located in Brooklyn.

Brooklyn Barges

GPM Marine Constructions owns and operates Brooklyn Barges, with 4 barges servicing Brooklyn and Hawkesbury areas, including Dangar Island, Parsley Bay Boat Ramp, Kangaroo Point Boat Ramp, Berowra Waters, Mooney Mooney, Pittwater and the surrounding waterways.

“Revenge” Roll on Roll off Barge – 14 x 5.7 metre custom designed unpowered barge with cranes and ramps for transporting vehicles and freight. Large and small jobs.

“Glaucus” – Push Boat with forward outriggers and 2 x 225 hpm motors.

“Garbo” – 9 metre work/landing punt with drop down forward loading ramp and 2 x 225 hpm motors.

“Aqua 1” – drop front barge with 2 x 225 hpm motors. Cost-effective solution for smaller deliveries, cargo or garbage removal.
