Boat Ramps and Slipways for Launching, Landing and Dry Docking Boats

GPM Marine construct, repair, and maintain boat ramps and slipways used for the launch, landing, moving and drydocking of ships and boats.

We create single and multi-lane boat ramps exposed to river flow, wave action, wind exposure, sedimentation, and open coast setting, for local and state government authorities and are also specialists in building domestic boat ramps and slipways.

GPM Marine’s expert team can also construct gates and guard rails for safer movement of pedestrians and vehicles, install overhead lighting and aluminum gangways and construct adjacent carparks and amenities.

What We Do

Rock Walls and Grout Mattresses to Protect Your Vessel and the Foreshore

Our rock walls mitigate the effects of boat scour on ramps by minimizing the exposure of the boat ramp area to wave action and preventing waves from pushing a boat sideways during launching and retrieval operations.

GPM Marine’s grout filled mattresses provide you with a cost-effective alternative to other methods of erosion control and can be installed under water and coloured to blend in the with natural environment. Grout mattresses ensure protection while providing boat users with a safe and easy cross over rock scour. They are ideal for:

• Wharf and harbour embankments

• Lake and river linings

• Culverts and spillways

• Seawalls and boat ramps

• Sludge lagoons

Testimonials

Hear From Our Happy Boat Ramps and Slipways Customers

Congratulations to GPM Marine Constructions which has delivered this project for Laurieton despite the challenges faced during COVID-19. This maritime infrastructure is a welcome boost for the area and will benefit both commercial fishers as well as the general community

Leslie Williams – Member for Port Macquarie

We were very happy with the end product and congratulations on an excellent well executed job

Julian

GPM Marine completed a very difficult recovery operation for Port Macquarie-Hastings Council. Council was aware of GPM Marine’s presence and capabilities as the company had been engaged in waterfront construction within our council area and had been observed relocating large construction barges of approx. 25 to 30m in length by sea to Port Macquarie to facilitate their works. All GPM Marine staff were suitably qualified to carry out the works and completed the job in a safe, professional and efficient manner.

These works presented many challenges over 20 months, but by working together we have all contributed to a safe successful project. The new Wharf deck looks great, and with the remediation works to the existing structure, Newcastle will be enjoying this space for many decades to come.

Project Manager

I would not hesitate to recommend GPM Marine to any potential client for reliable, proficient coastal towing at a good price
